Following a three-year break due to the international Covid pandemic Al-Hidayah 2023 returned in its original three-day residential format running from 26-28 August at the University of Warwick.
This was the largest al-Hidayah three-day residential event to date, with over 1250 participants attending from the United Kingdom and around the world.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered a series of lectures explaining the merits of spiritual company and the ideal destination being our ultimate journey back towards our creator (Allah).
Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri also delivered a separate session for sisters, whilst Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri delivered two talks to all attendees.
Internationally acclaimed photographer and author Peter Saunders presented a unique session entitled ‘Exemplars for Our Time’ combining an exhibition and talk.
Al-Hidayah 2023 also included recreational and spiritual activities as well as dedicated workshops covering a variety of areas and interests.
