Once again, the al-Hidayah three day residential retreat over three days was held at Keele University in Staffordshire.
This event entitled ‘Violent extremism – the Counter-narrative’ also included workshops and training and spiritual activities as well as a series of three main lectures delivered by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
The lectures were unique in empowering the 500 attendees with the essential academic tools to counter the false narrative of violent extremism with a counter-narrative based on the correct and original teachings of Islam.
